DEARBORN — Collection of leaves raked into the street begins the week of Oct. 29. Leaves will be collected in each area’s trash day each week through the week of Dec. 10.
Residents whose trash day is Monday will have leaves scheduled to be picked up on Monday and will follow through the rest of the week for each trash district.
The goal is for loose leaves to be picked up in an entire trash district each day, but weather and other conditions may affect that schedule.
If a trash district is not completed in one day, loose leaf collection crews will return the next week on that trash day and begin loose leaf collection from where they left off a week earlier.

Remember that parked vehicles must be removed from the streets from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a neighborhood’s trash day.
