Prime Minister Stephen Harper sent out Rosh Hashanah greeting cards to a number of Canadian Jews. Some took offense, wanting to know how their names and addresses were obtained, and a few non-Jews also received these cards. However, there were no Eid el-Fitr cards sent. A number of Muslim organizations complained about the favoritism. Are Muslims in Harper’s no-hope category?
