A 95-year-old woman at the Northwest (Fla.) Regional Airport was reportedly forced to take off her adult diaper according to her daughter Jean Weber of Florida while heading to Michigan to visit family.

The wheelchair-bound woman is battling leukemia and may not have much time to live according to reports. She was expecting to go to Hastings near Grand Rapids but was detained for nearly 45 minutes before being searched extensively. 

The woman began crying after being asked to remove the diaper in the bathroom. The TSA told The Detroit News that its officers had followed the proper procedure during the incident. 

The mother made the flight and arrived in Grand Rapids later but has filed a complaint with the TSA.
