Lead poisoning, which can be diagnosed through clinical testing, can accumulate in the body over time and an excess can cause serious and at times permanent and even adverse health consequences. The substance may be damaging to the nervous system and internal organs.
Two cases of high blood levels of lead associated with consumption of the product have been reported through the Illinois Department of Public Health, Environmental Health Protection. Consumers who have purchased Nabelsi Thyme should not consume the product and must immediately return them to their place of purchase for a full refund.
